One month to go...

Sun Aug 13, 2006, 9:15 AM
No one really needs to read this; it's probably going to turn into a rant, but maybe not. That made no sense. Oh, and "SPOILER WARNING"

So, yeah. I'm waiting. And waiting. And waiting. For the new Avatar episodes. September 15th. That's one month and two days from today, and I'm getting mighty sick of it. Whatever happened to the good old days of season 1 when they would release one episode every Friday, or even every other Friday? I quite enjoyed that. And if they're going to make us wait two freaking months between new episodes, would it be /so/ hard to give us more of a trailer than: "The Fire Nation has a secret. Find out what it is on Friday, September 15th" and showing Aang with a very surprised look on his face?! At least from the background scenery in that one lousy shot, we can gather that they made it out of the desert. But we probably could have assumed that already, considering that the sandbenders said that they would. I really would not be having such issues with this if we knew more about the episode other than that. And there were a few tidbits I heard about on Distant Horizon ([link]) from some people who had been to the ComicCon, but even those things probably won't happen for at least a few more episodes. And by then it'll be, what? November?

End rant. At last. Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I can think a bit more rationally and guess that there will be better trailers as September draws nearer. And until then, I have to satiate myself by trading theories with the nice folks on Distant Horizon. If you didn't catch it before, the link is [link] . Seriously. It's a great forum. If you like Avatar you should join. Yeah. I think I'm done now.

What a total waste of a journal.
